Infection Control & Patient Safety
In line with the requirements of the Ministry of Public Health, Chtoura Hospital has established the Infection Control and Patient Safety program. The Infection Control and Patient Safety program aim is to effectively facilitate a hospital wide prevention, surveillance and control of infections within the patient and healthcare worker population.
The infection control staff includes an infectious disease doctor and infection control officer. The staff members coordinate their activities with the infection control committee, and the committee approves and participates in proactive and reactive actions that promote the infection control measures throughout the hospital.
